Passing the Gift Along

thegraphicsfairy.com

It's a lovely day out in our part of the world... bright and warm and feeling so much like Spring.

We can hope it will stay, but we know from past experience that it's really only just a reprieve. There will no doubt be days that feel quite wintery before the season's done. However, reprieve or not, we shall sally forth today to enjoy the warmth on our faces and to take in deep breaths of the air that smells of earth and melting snow.

I'm in the middle of working on a piece that has a deadline looming -- it's for a writers' anthology on habits essential to writers. So no big post here today, alas, but I'm happy to share a post from a few years ago that I just refurbished Pass the Gift Along and I do hope it makes your visit worthwhile.

Here's wishing you glimpses of heaven in unexpected places,
Brenda

  1. Write, Write, write until the deadline! THAT is the writer's lot! :) Sending sunshine and blue skies from a snowy, grey North Carolina!

  2. My writing has been at my own pace for the time being, not sure I'd like to have a deadline. Good luck, Brenda!

  6. I will need to read your article -- I need the inspiration!
Spring seems far away here, just 7 or 8 degrees out. Hope you enjoyed your mini spring.

    1. Janet, that's a wonderful poem. I can't say that I've dreamed of making biscuits while vacuuming at the local performing arts centre, but I have certainly hummed a few praise pieces... to help keep me from grumblin :).

Thanks for sharing that... much appreciated!
