Postponed...

"May your days be crammed full of the
small joys that tip the balance towards hope."
SARAH CLARKSON, as seen on Facebook, 2022

I am called away from my everyday life for a little while to
tend to my dear 90-year-old mom, who took a tumble—every
elder person's nightmare. Thankfully no broken bones,
but it will take a while to gather fresh wind for her sails.

I won't be posting this week. Fingers crossed and
prayers whispered. I hope to be back next week,
but we're taking it one day at a time.

Until next time, I'm wishing you a beautiful day,
Brenda

  1. So sorry to hear about your mother, Brenda. I'm not far from her age, and falls are a constant worry. It will take time for her to gather confidence again, but I'm sure you will be there alongside her.

  2. Thank the Lord she didn't break anything! Bless her heart, falling is so scary for the elderly. I'm so glad you can be with her, as she recovers her emotions and bearings.

  12. Thank you, dear friends, for your kind wishes and prayers. Much appreciated! Mom is still in hospital. They have been monitoring her - when she fell she hit her head - and as a result there has been some internal bleeding. But little by little things are improving. His grace is sufficient. Her medical care has been amazing. So grateful.
