I don't ask for the meaning of the song of a bird
or the rising of the sun on a misty morning.
There they are, and they are beautiful.

I heard a robin whistling from some roof top as rays of sunshine tickled corners early this morning. What a delight! That means the robins back, and for me, that means spring is truly here... even here in northerly Alberta! Hubby's been out in the yard cleaning up and already little spring sprigs are poking green noses through warming earth.
Robin Williams says it best when he once said, "Spring is nature's way of saying, 'Let's party!'" I'm ready -- you too?
Happy Day!

So ready to party!! I've been looking forward to spring for what seems like forever!
ReplyDeletesounds like a great spring start...go for it!
ReplyDeleteI just saw my first robin over the weekend, but we are enjoying the spring song of our chickadees..."Phoebe, Phoebe." Presumably, that means "Phoebe, get over here and help me build this nest." Party in spring? Yes, I guess that sometimes I feel like having a bit of a party.
ReplyDeleteWe're more than ready to get outside and enjoy the spring!
