"The spring is coming by a many signs..."
JOHN CLARE
We're glad for smattering signs of Spring around here -- warmer temperatures, longer daylight hours, chickadee songs changing, a few Canada geese flying overhead, and the welcome traces of brown lawns edging out from melting snow mounds. No signs of life as yet in our garden. So we take sweet pleasure in the pots of yellow tulips sitting in the front window and the colourful posies a dear friend brought to me from the Farmers' Market.

The last quote is my favourite too. “A perpetual astonishment” if we allow ourselves to see it so. 💜😊
ReplyDeletePictures aren’t loading for me today. I know that I am missing some beautiful ones. The quote selection is certainly lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry if you came by earlier and couldn't see the photos. Blogger for some reason wouldn't load them and when I tried several times throughout the day to reload, it still wouldn't let me. BUT NOW, they seem to be working fine. There must have been a glitch.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by...

Wonderful post, Bren with beautiful quotes.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see all the tulips on this very snowy day we are having!
ReplyDeleteI so very much enjoyed each photo. At this time of year any and all flowers are a welcome sight.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteI too missed the first photos when I came by yesterday. But now they are there, and very beautiful too. Tulips are such a joy, and mine are just opening now.
ReplyDeleteLovely quotes and photos. Tulips are such delightful flowers, growing even more beautiful as they age.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful post. Tulips are one of my favorite flowers (well I think all flowers are my favorite when they are blooming :)!!) Your quotes are so uplifting. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to come here today and anticipate spring and enjoy these beautiful tulips along with you! (Tulips are my favorite!)
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms, Brenda. I just love flowers, all flowers. Our spring flowers are out in numbers already (although they did not have layers of snow to contend with). The weather is a bit crazy, quite hot one day and stormy the next, but then it is a crazy old world.
