I have no idea who said the quote below, but it's just too good not to pass along. I think it's a wonderful way to end a week, and maybe because we've all messed up on something and we need a fresh look at things. So here it is in all its short sweet goodness...
"Failure doesn't mean the game is over; it means try again with experience."
So, thanks to whoever said it. It's so gorgeous here today and my mountain ash is on fire with autumnal glory in the morning light. Makes me glad to be alive. Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Brenda

Oh, I love that, Brenda. Thanks for sharing. It sounds like something Jesus would say.
ReplyDeleteYour ash tree is alive with color--what a beauty!
Happy Weekend,
Jen
What a lovely thought!
ReplyDeleteBrenda,
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you for your kind comments on my blog. Your quote today was a great encouragement to me, as I am thinking of taking the steps to find another dog, the next one hopefully without the baggage. I read your profile and have to say that we share so many of the same likes. I too, am a fan of Alexandra Stoddard, and wish to create a place (home or blog) that is truly beautiful. Your blog is certainly that!
Gratefully,
Debora
Ohhhhh..... you KNOW I'm going to use this one!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a great way to end the week.
Have a nice weekend Brenda.
What a lovely quote. We're all too hard on ourselves at one time or another. It's easy to forget that we have the luxury of trying again and learning from our experiences. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quote - with a lovely photo to accompany it. Something to ponder as I putter about the house this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe picture and the quote are truly lovely! Why is it so easy to remember or presume failure, when what appears as failure might still be the middle of a wonderful end result...because of the experience gained!
ReplyDeleteBrenda, I always leave your page inspired and renewed. Thank-you!
That is a great quote. It is worth revisiting every so often. And love the tree with the beautiful blue sky behind.
ReplyDeletegood quote...it's all in our attitude...act don't react!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the inspiration. Lovely quote. x

ReplyDeleteGreat quote and thank you so much for your wonderful comments on my blog. I have never seen '84 Charing Cross' but I'll have to rent it since it came highly recommended.
