Today I am delighted to be a Guest Blogger on InScribe, where I share about writing projects that make my heart sing. You'll find my post HERE. Will you stop in and say hello?

  2. Dear, dear Brenda ~ I'm sorry I've not been around much. Have been down in the dumps but, every time I visit you I am inspired, encouraged, uplifted, motivated. Your last two guest posts really touched my heart. Thank you for sharing beauty with the world and for being you. And your last post in this blog has made me visit Amazon to check out the book, 'The God of the Garden' by Andrew Peterson. It sounds just like what I need at this time. ~ May God continually bless you as you encourage others with your beautiful, healing words. ~ FlowerLady

    1. FlowerLady Lorraine, I'm so glad for your visit. I'm so glad that something I say here inspires and uplifts you when you need a boost. I've just started Andrew's book and am enjoying it so far. I hope you will find it a boon companion with inspiring thoughts to motivate and cheer you. One of my favourite little scenes from the book so far is when he describes how he bought an old oaken kneeler that was once in a church in England. He has it in his writing cabin, and he describes how sometimes he will stop, light a candle and say a prayer as he kneels there. I am so taken with this picture. I don't have an oaken kneeler but I have turned to the picture of it in my mind's eye when I have needed to come away and be still a moment. Wishing you glimpses of heaven in unexpected places today, FlowerLady! xo

  3. Adding a note: I'm getting feedback from readers having trouble leaving comments on this blog. I'm sorry to hear it, I'm not sure why that is the case. My comments remain open for anyone to comment as per usual - I didn't make any changes.

    However, I believe Blogger has changed something in the Comments Section. More readers' comments show up as Anonymous instead of their own names - perhaps that's part of the issue. :(

    Thankfully, it's still possible to choose to use your own name (this is if you don't have your own blog):
    1. Under Comments, select name/url in the drop-down menu;
    2. Type in your name, whatever you use it in the public arena (eg first name only, whole name, pen name)
    3. Ignore the request for your url, if you don't have a blog or link to your own site to include.
    4. Type in your comment (I always love hearing from you).
    5 Hit the Publish button. And hopefully it should publish. And I'll know who is leaving me a note.

To My Beautiful Readers,

Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same. ~ Franz Peter Schubert

Thank you so much for leaving your 'footprint' here in my comment box. I do appreciate you taking a moment to share your thoughts today.
