Outside My Window Today

"God made a beauteous garden
With lovely flowers strewn,
But one straight, narrow pathway
That was not overgrown.

And to this beauteous garden
He brought mankind to live,
And said "To you, my children,
These lovely flowers I give.

Prune ye my vines and fig trees,
With care my flowers tend,
But keep the pathway open
Your home is at the end."

God's Garden by Robert Frost

The fun of seeing Mr. Bluejay stop by for refreshment...

and a quick splish...

Splash....

and a flighty dash....

According to Rumi, Beauty surrounds us, and we need to be walking in a garden to know it.... or... at the very least, hanging around our windows once in a while.

Sharing a little of the beauty... and joy... from my corner of the world
with the hope it will add a little something extra to yours.

Hugs,
 xox

    1. Yes, there's been a pair comin' round this summer. And he dunks in as far as he can (the bird bath isn't very deep). And flies into the tree to preen and fix his 'hair' afterwards.

Hubby made the sunken patio a number of years ago. It makes a lovely pattern when the Irish moss first starts in the Spring (alas the weeds love it too).

That Bluejay has the right idea and has the place to himself.
