who doesn't use long, difficult words
but rather short, easy words like, "What about lunch?”
~ A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
A friend is picking me up for an outing and lunch today.
How about you... what are you up to this Friday?
Happy Weekend!

Sounds lovely, Brenda! Enjoy time out with your friend today and best wishes for a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks for making me smile! I think Winnie-The-Pooh is a very wise old bear (and I'm not saying that because it's time for my lunch either :o) ).
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with your friend.
How funny and how true!. I hope you had a lovely lunch.
ReplyDeleteWell, Friday came and went, and I DID have lunch with friends after our Bible study!
ReplyDeleteThis has been a week FULL of lunches. I've enjoyed 3 days in a row of friendships and lunches. And that doesn't count Friday. (I had Thursday "off"!)
It has not been a "normal" week, but one I wouldn't mind repeating :)
Have a great weekend, Brenda.
yesterday I went to country line dancing class and spent a quiet day at home catching up on projects...
ReplyDeleteAmen, Winnie! Enjoying the day (Saturday) with family. The kids and grandkids are all coming in for Spring Break. We're smoking ribs and chicken for dinner. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDelete"Lunch" is a very good one-syllable word.
ReplyDeleteI've always believed NOBODY gets too old for Winnie-the Pooh:) Love it!
ReplyDeleteWinnie the Pooh is the wisest bear I know! What a cute post!
ReplyDeleteI always love a quote from Winnie The Pooh. He is such a sweet bear.
