Progress and Friends

Some of the graphics I use here come from Banner Haus.
Today I wanted to acknowledge Holly for the
fun stuff she has on her blog.

Oh, I've been missing you all, but I am excited about the progress I've been making on 'clearing the deck' of the old and making room for my new, right work. Which means that, as the excess and clutter of old projects, jobs no longer required or wanted, not to mention stuff in closets, files, and cupboards are sorted and dumped, I now have ROOM AND TIME for work that is 'true, ardent, creative', in the words of Brenda Ueland, author of If You Want To Write. And for me that means room and time (without guilt) to blog and share more in this wonderful community.

Speaking of progress, I wanted to take a moment to share the link to a friend's newly-created blog I Am A Work In Progress. I'm glad Ruth has taken the plunge and is adding her unique voice to the mix. She's an avid reader and loves to share what's she's learning. She's got some good things to say.

I'd love for you to pop over and say hi.... maybe leave a comment to encourage her new endeavours. I know she'd appreciate it!

Still working,
Brenda

  1. Thanks for your encouragement. It means a lot to me. I am hoping to continue growing and learning as I write on my blog and then put what I'm learning into practice. Have a very blessed day. Ruth

  2. Happy to hear you are making progress. I feel that way too everytime I get my art area clean but it doesn't stay that way too long. Love that graphic on today's post. I will pop over and visit your friend.

  4. Welcome back! Missed you!

I am doing as you --- clearing the deck. It is so fun to watch things go out the door and not return (people - sometimes -- stuff -- others!)!

Glad to see you are back!

  6. Thanks for your words of encouragement. I have had two bloggers visit my site after having visited your site. It's cool to be able to visit other blogs now that I'm writing one myself. I look forward to meeting more bloggers and learning all sorts of new things.

To My Beautiful Readers,

Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same. ~ Franz Peter Schubert

Thank you so much for leaving your 'footprint' here in my comment box. I do appreciate you taking a moment to share your thoughts today.
