(tea-towels and T-shirts and pillowcases being 'snapped' and folded)
Sizz-sizz-sizz-sizz
(beef stew browning in hot oil)
Blub-blub-blub
(water boiling for a much-needed cuppa Earl Grey)
Clank-Clank
(dishes being washed in the sink)
