When do you like to get your major house cleaning done? I favour autumn cleaning over spring cleaning, because in spring I want to get outside after the long winter, whereas when summer wanes and autumn falls around us, I love the idea of nestling nearer to the heart of the home and getting ready for the cooler days.

The older I get the less pull there is to pull everything out from the walls and corners for one of those all out cleaning sprees.
ReplyDeleteI used to love going at it hammer and tongs for a couple of days (usually on a weekend as I worked full-time when I was younger) to get everything in order all at once. But now my life is slower and I don't work full-time so I tend to clean and tidy as I go, in smaller bites. Maybe not quite as satisfying as being able to look around and see everything in order at the same time, but it is less stressful.
I'll have to check out that Marcia's website and see if anything catches my imagination.
