'Un Petit' Giveaway #2

This giveaway is about savoring the little pleasures...
the little moments in life...
because sometimes they just are the

Over recent weeks I've been looking for ways to create mini-stops or 'un petit' holidays in the midst of otherwise busy days.

The other day I posted about the best gift is when we're present to the person we're with.  Sometimes that means being present to ourselves.  When we're alone, are we really 'present' to our own hearts whisperings?  Are we noticing the little gifts that come our way... those glimpses of heaven in unexpected places?

Through this little giveaway, I want to create one of those teeny stops for you by offering you a moment -- in fact 6 teeny moments -- to Stop. Taste. Savor. Enjoy. Relax. Notice.  Rejoice.

And what better way than to set one of these delectable chocolaty confections in front of you on this pretty little dessert plate.

Wishing you sweet success!

    1. The plate is so pretty, so are the chocolates!! I would eat the Home Sweet Home first, the maple and caramel, yum!!

    2. What a nice way to gently remind us to take time to savour life's moments.

    3. My first pick would be the Twisted Mayan. It sounds like such an interesting combination... but if I found I didn't like it, I wouldn't want it to be the last taste from that selection of chocolates. I think I'd want the Kiwi Kissed Cocktail to be the last.

    4. This is so delightful! I'm too far away to hope to taste these AMAZING looking chocolates, but I am encouraged to go fetch a chocolate from my cupboard and go sit in the sun on the balcony and savor the moment.

I love your just this little post I got such a SENSE of the joy you know how to fill your life with. You get it :) Keep it up - and keep on sharing it with others! That is some of the best work you can do in life :) Blessings to you!

    5. What a great give away! The chocolates look beautiful and delicious! I would chose the truffle first! :)

      P.S. I am a new follower.

    6. It does look yummy but I can't at sugar so I'll pass but good ideas on living in the moment...

    7. Holey Moley! What a delicious give away!

I would select the Twisted Mayan because I like the combination. It makes me think of the movie "Chocolat." Who couldn't love that??

      What a nice giveaway!

    8. I wandered over here from "Sew me something good" This is my second visit. I am loving your little "pit stop" ideas. Taking time to slow down is something we all need.

    9. If I were to pick one to start with it would be the Thai one - I <3 coconut.

    10. Brenda,
You have such a giving heart. Two really wonderful giveaways! I love the thoughts behind both of them.

I took you words to heart and I'm really be aware of being present to those around me. It feel good.

Birds are one of my passions! The plate is beautiful.

    11. If I were to just have one yummy, it would be the Heart. Love hearts!

      PS, I'm a follower!

    12. My mouth is watering already.

It's hard to say which one I would choose FIRST because I would save most tantalizing one for LAST - it's all about the anticipation (even though I'd never eat more than one per day). So for the LAST one, I'd choose the Thai Goddess - yum!

      And I'm a follower!

      Thanks for the sweet giveaway!

    13. Those candies look scrumptious! The twisted Mayan sounds interesting.

    14. Brenda,

Thanks for coming by. I love the photo of the chocolate on the beautiful dish. And if I had to choose, I would just close my eyes and point!

      Have a wonderful weekend.

    15. Yummy Yummy Yummy I got love in my tummy.
Colorwise I would pick the green one in the middle with the little dots on it. Ingrediants wise I would pick the Citron et Poire a Paris.

    16. Veggiefella is now a follower.

    17. What a sweet post! Tough deciding which one I'd pick first but I think the Truffle wins.

    18. I love, love, love Chocolate! And what a beautiful assortment.

But the one I would pick first is the Tiramisu Truffle - it combines my two favorite treats: chocolate and cookies!

And I am definitely a follower of your very uplifting blog! I always leave with a good feeling about life.

    19. Oh, Brenda, having been spoiled with some of these divine creations from you before, I know how hard it is to choose where to start! I'm leaning towards the Home Sweet Home because I do adore caramel and love maple syrup.

Thank you for your sweet giveaway, but more importantly, thank you for the sweet uplifting words you share through your blog. Sending you hugs...

    20. They look delicious! I think I'd try the Thai Goddess one first.

    21. Oh, my, aren't you generous!!! Thank you so much for this yummy giveaway.

I would eat the Twisted Mayan first, and the Kiwi last. I LOVE kiwi, so would save it for last.

But of course I'm a follower!

      With love,

    22. You certainly are a generous lady. I think the dish with the chocolate is so pretty. My first pick would be Home Sweet Home.

I will get you my Mother's egg casserole asap.

    23. You are so right--we all need to take the time to be in the moment, because those moments go by all too fast and pretty soon they turn into years!!! Thanks for the reminder to slow down and just BE!

    24. I'm going for the Thai Goddess--oh yes! I'm going on a tropical vacation without the plane ride!!! I may even put on my grass skirt while I eat it (yeah, right!)

    25. I am now a follower--this is such an interesting blog and I am enjoying going back and reading all your previous posts. Thanks for the good advice and the opportunity to win a great prize on top of it! I'm glad I found you!

    26. what a lovely idea and imprtant message. I love chocolate so ALL of them would be favourites but I also loved the little bird dish how sweet and where from? Could it be bought online? Love Helen, Darcy and Bingley xxx

    27. How quickly the weeks flies... and how lovely to get all your comments on this 'sweet' giveaway.

Helen, you asked if the bird plate can be found online -- don't know about that, as I found it at a store here in Canada: HomeSense. I too really like that birdy plate, so I went looking for more.... alas.... they'd all flown away by the time I got back to the store.

    28. Further to Helen's inquiry about if that little birdy dessert plate is available online...... I FOUND it...

It's 222 Fifth "early bird" Fine China.

I'm so excited, because I wanted to get more of these whimsical pieces, and HomeSense (where I bought them) didn't carry anymore.

      So hope that helps!
