Need A Blogging Challenge?

The days zip by and I find myself still without a plan for my blog this year. The last few months seemed to have so many things that required attention that my blog has been less than....

Which makes me wonder if I need a blogging challenge again. When I first started I challenged myself to do 100 postings in 100 days. So maybe I should do something similar, only this time, include a goal to update and add interest, as well as fashion a list with a new range of topics and ideas to ponder and write about.

In the meantime, thanks to those of you who stay in touch. It's always such a pleasure to find your 'footprints' in my comments garden.

Wishing you a great day,

  1. I always enjoy your posts, Brenda. And those are great blogging tips. I used to feel like I had to blog a certain number of times per week, but recently, I just blog when I want to. Like Alice says, it should be fun!

On the other hand, a challenge is a good thing - if it can be made fun, too!

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Brenda, I think by making your blog your own, be yourself and share your heart all with similar outlooks will be drawn to you. So many blog now and so many I love but there are some I have nothing in common with.....Just be yourself, as they say, build it and they will come and even if they don't as long as you are happy doing it....isn't that what counts.......:-) Hugs

  3. Being rather new to blogging, it is great to see how others feel about the whys and hows of blogging. I have thought about this a lot lately.
    Thanks for sharing this.

  4. Brenda that is so true,we need a focus. When I started blogging I intended this to be a journal as opposed to writing in a journal by hand. I have ordered a book for the first year of my blog from the blogger co. I am looking forward to what it looks like. You get to pick the color, the front, back and so on. That is my goal for however long I can last. Blessings

  5. Just in case you want to know, I think your blog is perfect exactly how it is! I look forward to seeing each of the beautiful and unique things that you share, and always am blessed by my visits. This bouquet of pansies made my day. I am so thankful that each blog is an expression of the person who creates it.

  6. good ideas. I blog ahead when I have lots of ideas by scheduling my posts in days ahead. Then other times I've been known to miss a day if I'm too busy. Life and living is definitely the priority.

  7. Probably you're just needing a spring house-cleaning, or some new paint. But by all means keep on keepin' on here in the blogosphere. You'd be terribly missed if you left us!

  8. Hi Brenda! I love your header picture! Pansies and johnny jumpups are one of my favorite flowers! I just love the little faces!

  9. hi Brenda! These 5 points are definitely important to keep in mind. Just be yourself and be honest.
Glad you joined my challenge. I couldn't find your resolutions, but whatever they are, good luck.
    Happy reading :)
And thanks for recommendation of that online mag.

  10. I love Artful Blogging...gorgeous magazine with lots of wonderful blogs to visit!!

  11. Thanks Brenda for your wonderful email and for mentioning my article here. That is exactly why I wrote it...and I am so blessed that someone was able to take something good away from it. You never know when you write these things if it will make a difference, but I am glad I could offer some helpful insight for you ;) Keep on blogging for you...whenever the time feels right...
