I had to reread your post, when you said guess who thought they were for her. I thought well who else were they for...and wondered why your husband was buying flowers for someone else but then i reread it again and realize what you were trying to say...the cat thought it was for HER. Use of pronoun had me a little confused for awhile...LOL!

What a sweetie he is to bring you something so lovely to remind you how special you are in his eyes. And kitty too, of course...Enjoy your blossoms and your hubby this Valentines Day.
Maybe say...I thought the flowers were for me but guess who thought they were for her? Then we'd get the message immediately...but it was a great hook to read further. I wondered who she was?
I noticed you enjoy reading books by Jan Karon. She invites you to visit her website at www.mitfordbooks.com. I think you will enjoy her site.
Your kitty is doing exactly what our kitty Dee Dee when I get arranged cut flowers. Except if I put the vase down, her face goes in the flowers and she starts digging to get to the water (naughty kitty). I hope your sweet baby doesn't do that.Cindy
lovely flowers!! your cat is adorable!!
Hi Brenda! Just returning your blog visit. Thank you for visiting y blog and leaving a comment. Very nice blog you have here!Your cat is beautiful. She looks a great deal like a cat I used to have. My cat used to try to get into any flowers that were brought into the house as well. It was always a challenge trying to find a place to put them where she wouldn't get into them. :DI hope you have a wonderful weekend!
