An Interview at Fit For Faith

2009 by Brenda Colleen Leyland

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Kimberley at Fit for Faith, asking me if I'd be interested in doing an on-line interview about New Year's Resolutions. If you care to take a peek, the interview was posted on her site this morning.

Kimberley is one of those wonderful motivators who encourages people to stay fit and healthy! If you need some encouragement with your own challenges in that department, she may be just the person to have on your own blogroll; then you can visit often for inspiration.

I was happy to note that Kimberley considers shoveling snow a good body workout -- for that's one of those 'quaint' things about me -- I enjoy shoveling snow and I'd sooner do that than mow grass on a hot summer day. (More invigorating to feel frost on your cheeks than perspiration down your forehead.)

PS. Now, there's no need to be telling my hubby about this.... because reading and blogging still top my list of favourite activities on any wintry day!

  1. Did I mention that tobogganing and snowmobiling are right up there for good health benefits too! :)
What can I say, I'm Canadian eh.

  2. Thanks Kimberley! Good ideas.

  3. What a great interview Brenda! Shoveling snow is definitely exercise. We just got over a foot of snow but it was my husband who did the shoveling.

I love your new header picture!

  4. Ahhhh yes, shoveling snow. It shocks me every time I shovel how much I enjoy it. I'm not generally a hard labor kinda gal. But, if it's not real deep or real heavy, I think it's kinda fun. And we only have a small space to be shoveled. The big stuff is handled by a kind neighbor with his professional snow removal equipment.

I kind of like mowing as well... but then we use riding mowers on our lawns and pastures. We have about 3 acres to be mowed. I'ts like riding a slow fourwheeler.

  5. congrats will have to check out your interview, my blog for tomorrow is on resolutions again.

  6. Bonnie - thanks for the feedback! Good to hear from you.

Caryn - I think I wouldn't mind mowing grass on a riding mower. I do enjoy the smell of cut grass.

Lin - I noticed that you mentioned how you were 'acting not reacting' in one of your recent posts --- I'd say that sounds like you've got a good handle on your goal so far this year.
