Rejoice with you...Very lovely doors, both of them! Rejoice with you that walking through the door of opportunity has opened up even more doors for you. It’s wonderful to let our light shine for the Lord as we apply ourselves to opportunities especially if one senses that this has been one’s direction and calling. I just know that every opportunity presented to us, however, is not a door to be walked through. There have been good opportunities, that after searching the heart of the Lord, have had to be turned down, in favor of better or the best thing to do. Thinking on these things……Karinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12953073381987950597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6017539925620642059.post-17008302234422202392010-06-26T12:24:45.809-06:002010-06-26T12:24:45.809-06:00I would pick the pink door.....I would pick the pink door.....Penny from Enjoying The Simple Thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01480355122441712250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6017539925620642059.post-34119193663422509852010-06-25T18:54:58.152-06:002010-06-25T18:54:58.152-06:00Life is made up of opened and closed doors. Pa...Good words, Lin, not to let fear hold us back.

Pam, enjoyed hearing Mother Teresa's thoughts about clarity....wow! That is amazing.

How many times does He promise that He's directing our steps, so we should have total confidence that when we step out -- or open doors -- He'll ensure we're not going to fall off the edge of the world.

And about making mistakes? I've been spending some time with Ann Vertel (Millionaire Mindset Method) and she tells me that her power team celebrate mistakes and failures, because it means they tried something and moved forward. They see everything as a learning growing experience. So it's a win (even when it's a failure).

Who said, if you fall down 6 times, just get up 7.

Sandy, isn't that a pretty door. I found both on glitter graphics.
Always enjoy hearing from you!Brenda @ Its A Beautiful Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02955486477303938670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6017539925620642059.post-18112202914243283412010-06-24T07:03:17.321-06:002010-06-24T07:03:17.321-06:00Oh Brenda I just loved this post! It's so true that simply opening one door can lead to so many more exciting and challenging doors.

And if I had to choose, I'd choose door number 1 - the stained glass door. I can just imagine the opportunities waiting on the other side of it.

Thanks!Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852985202199173748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6017539925620642059.post-31618511279129832010-06-23T23:00:21.861-06:002010-06-23T23:00:21.861-06:00Hi Brenda,
I always feel lifted up when I read you...Hi Brenda,
I always feel lifted up when I read your thoughts. As for opening doors, that is a good reminder for me to make decisions. I usually hesitate before opening a new door because I'm not sure or clear on whether or not to proceed. I'm worried that I'm opening the wrong door, and I'll miss out on the 'right' door.
But the way you explained it so beautifully, when I finally decide to open a door, I will grow and learn through whatever is on the other side and ultimately, that's what's important. Becoming is more important than doing.
Interesting that we both see Mother Theresa's words in this principle. She told somebody once that clarity was the last thing he was clinging to and that he must let go of it. Instead of praying that God would show this man which decision to make, she prayed that he would trust God.

Thank you for your timely words!
Pam Mytroenfudge4everhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16295705620837466292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6017539925620642059.post-36558987561464842922010-06-23T22:14:40.497-06:002010-06-23T22:14:40.497-06:00how true, just need to follow those impressions to...how true, just need to follow those impressions to open doors and not let your fears get the best of you...Great Grandma Linhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11791149428495689835noreply@blogger.com
