Teeny Tiny Pleasures I

1.  Sewing on a wobbly loose button -- there's something quite satisfying about tying that knot so the button feels secure again.

2. Sooshing out a wrinkled pillowcase with the steam iron, leaving it smooth and crisp.

3.  Losing 1/2 pound this month. Although my intent was two pounds, we're still pleased, because, well, after all, now we're less than when we started... Adios, Muffin Top!

4. Sorting through one small drawer and giving heave-ho to all manner of accumulated clutter. What a relief!

5.  Choosing a cheerful ribbon to tie around a new book that's being mailed to a friend...as a surprise!

What teeny tiny things are you celebrating today?

  1. I took some photographs of snowflakes that I'll feature tomorrow. I am quite pleased with them and they are teeny tiny.

Yay for weight loss no matter how much. It is great! I'm giving up that fourth loaf of bread to begin my diet plan again tomorrow. ;>

  2. Hi Brenda! What a fun idea, "teeny tiny pleasures". I think I am going to celebrate 1. The chocolate chip cookies my mother-in-law made today. 2. The way the sparkles in my new yarn catch the light as I knit. 3. Barkley my dog laying contentedly at my feet as I write. 4. Waking up this morning to a little blast of icy air blowing through the bedroom window I accidentally left open. It was so refreshing and started my day off on a happy note. Have a beautiful evening! Delisa :)

  4. I'm applauding & enjoying each of YOUR "teeny tiny pleasures"!

For me, waking during the night with a verse from the Bible on my mind; getting the nativity sets put away (finally); getting outdoors to take a few photos for my gardening blog...

Thanks for the stimulus to list a few :)

  5. It's the little pleasures in life! I just accomplished #4 on our (former) junk drawer in the kitchen, and like you, it feels good to have done it...

To My Beautiful Readers,

Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same. ~ Franz Peter Schubert

Thank you so much for taking a moment to leave your 'footprint' here. For me, receiving and leaving comments is one of the great pleasures of blogging. It is such a joy to connect to the lovely people in blog land.
