No Bells and Whistles Today But...

After being away for several weeks, I had plans to re-enter my blog with a few bells and whistles... and those little treats are still coming as spring begins to unfold just a little around here.

No, there is no sign of green just yet.... the snow piles are deep and the temperatures still plummet to icy degrees at night..... BUT..... there's a change in air.  And, I hear it rather then see it.  The song of the chickadee has shifted from its winter whistle to its spring aria. Ahhhh.....

So that's why I decided to jot a quick hello; the sky might be gray outside, but I'm feeling like the little green shoots of my soul are poking out from under the cover of winter.

Thanks to you for your patience as I've taken time away from you.  As I mentioned already, I have little treats in store for you.... several giveaways to inaugurate my own new season in writing.  And, of course, like any self-respecting woman, we're thinking about a spring makeover not only in my wardrobe, home, but right here on my blog.

 So stay tuned..... in the meantime, here's a thought by Marcel Proust to ponder:
