Summertime Pleasures: Strawberries





 Strawberry Shortcake

Shortcake fresh from the oven swimming in gently sauteed strawberries--just until the juices release--and topped with dollops of real whipped cream. A summertime pleasure most sublime.

  4. Believe it or not, I just had that exact deletable dessert yesterday. My neighbor made me some shortbread over the weekend and I'm finishing it up. It's divine!
