Staying Warm

Brrrrr.... it was cold here today, but the sun was bright and skies were that frosty clear blue. A perfect winter's day.

I had full plans to write a cozy posting for today, but other needful things filled in the day. So as the evening draws to a close, let me leave you with this thought by J.C. Penney:
"Christmas is not just a time for festivity and merry making. It more than that. It is a time for the contemplation of eternal things. The Christmas spirit is a spirit of giving and forgiving."

Warmest wishes for a peaceful evening,

  3. Thanks, and the same to you, too! I know J.C. Penney was a real person, but I associate his name so closely with the department store that the quote was a surprise... I am rather jaded with stores in general, although I use them regularly!

  4. Brenda, you don't seem to mind the cold so much...good for you.
I don't mind snow or cold but the wind yesterday was brutal and is very hard on my arthritic hands.
    Have a wonderful day......:-) Hugs
