Read Your Own Books

As the year starts to turn the corner on the last season, I'm well aware that I've still got a couple dozen books to finish for the Read Your Own Books Challenge. Thought I'd include a few of my coffee table books in the mix.

Let's see...there's a gorgeous art book by Trisha Romance, a book about Sir Winston Churchill's life as a painter written by his daughter Mary Soames, the English Country Style decorating book by Mary Gilliant, a book of photography with the Hubbles Space Telescope, (snuck that one from Rick's side of the bed), Mary Englebreit's Outdoor Companion, an artsy book about Kitchens, and the sweet Asleep in the Sun book of photos of kitties sleeping in cozy spots in Greece.

If I keep adding to the reading pile that's towering on my side of the bed, soon I'll have to crawl in from the other side. But what pleasure there is to snuggle in with a good book, a warm kitty on my lap, and one dear snoozing hubby on a chilly autumn evening.

Happy Reading!
Brenda

  2. I have not been faithful to my planned reading list this year either. That is definitely due to my new blogging skills. I just love to try to work out things and find all the cute little things to ad. I am reading Blogging For Bliss.Enjoy the conference.

  4. Your pile of books looks very tempting - especially the one by/about Trisha Romance. I do love her paintings.

  5. Boy does that sound familiar, though where I come from (Arizona at present), the chilly part of the equation is missing.

The only thing missing is a bag of red licorice.

  6. Love that graphic and have used it before. Are you aware that you can erase the glittergraphics.com from your html, to make for a better look. They even allow downloads if you would rather do that...and they don't say glittergraphics.com so I reckon it's alright to erase that part...if not, I've never heard contrary.
A lot of my graphics come from there and Penniwigs site...you'll find her in my side bar.

    Have a nice day!☼
