Book Giveaway

We're having a Giveaway!

Browsing through my bookshelves I realized I have extra copies of two of my favourite books. And, rather than send them off to a secondhand bookshop, I'm hoping that you, dear blogging friends, would be delighted to make room in your heart and bookshelf for a 'new friend'.

Gift from the Sea
by Anne Morrow Lindbergh

The Shell Seekers
by Rosamunde Pilcher

  3. Hi Brenda, I follow your blog, and I think a new book or two would be lovely!

  4. Gosh Brenda I would love either of them. I have heard about both but never read either one. I will put it on my blog to get the word around.

  5. It's my luck day, I'm sure of it! I am overdue for a visit so I headed over and find a give-away! I'm smiling already. I would love to win "Gift form the Sea". I've read the Shell Seekers and loved it and someone else should win that one. Cheers! HAppy Septemeber!

  6. Hi, put me down 5 times for both books as I have you listed in my blog buddies. I've read Gift from the Sea but not for years and the other book I've not read. Just returning from the Oregon coast vacationing, I'd love to win a book. THANKS for the opportunity.

  7. know I'm in on this one...LOL!

    Great Give~away!♥

  8. What a generous gift that everyone would love to win, especially those of us who enjoy reading. We all love give-aways.

  9. Hi Brenda I popped over from QMM's blog to peek and as soon as I saw your books I was thrilled I did.
I already have a Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindberg but I haven't read The Shell Seekers, what a good idea you had to do this. I have so many books I think I will do something like this as well....I am an avid reader and think sharing them with fellow bloggers is so glad you showed me the way to do this.
You have a lovely blog and I hope you don't mind if I do follow you. Not to worry about adding me to your draw as your long time bloggers are more deserving, I am just happy to learn a way to share my books.
    Have a great day.....:-) Bernie

  10. Hi Brenda!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving me a lovely comment! It's always so nice to meet new people! I think we probably have a lot in common since I not only read but cherish each of your book selections! I couldn't believe it when I saw them both! One of your lucky readers will be very happy should they win! If they don't win then they should rush out to the nearest second hand book store and pick up a copy!

  11. Hey Brenda, it is Opal. How are you doing. How is your Mom and Dad?

  12. I think I'll enter this after all. I've read both books and love them, but I don't think I have copies of my own.

  13. The giveaway is a great idea! ..and who can resist a good book?
You are in my list of blogs I visit regularly and I'm going to do a post on my blog.

  14. Thanks.. Betty's post sent me here! I'm sure I can fit in one more book during our packing of boxes. Would be a nice surprise...

I am a follower, and have you in my list of blogs I follow. I've never read or heard of either book.
